A collection of sculptures made from hand tanned (leather) and taxidermied purdue chickens. The defeathered chicken always seemed like such an awkward form and reminded me of the human body and the awkwardness of people. Taxidermy relates to my childhood growing up in the country.

A store bought Purdue oven stuffer was treated with chemicals and turned into a taxidermied, stuffed leather object. The peace sign symbol was told to me by a Vietnam vet that the soldiers refered to it as "Chicken Tracks" in the war.
